Overview

PHENOM’s Fall 2020 plan is built on PHENOM’s founding belief that we are stronger together. Whether you’re new to the movement or a longtime higher education defender, PHENOM wants to work with you. Along with our ongoing legislative battles, we will be launching political education resources, an Organizing Workshop, and a town hall series this fall to fight back and defend

PHENOM Presentations

If you have questions about the rise of student debt, the way our schools are funded, or how to fight for education justice, PHENOM can help. PHENOM is now offering political education presentations to the community. PHENOM organizers and volunteers are trained to give presentations to your advocacy group, student organization, or class! We can tailor our presentations to meet your specific time and content needs.

Join PHENOM on Wednesday, September 9th from 5 to 7:30pm for a Higher Education Organizing Workshop. We want you to leave feeling more confident in your organizing and more connected in your region. All organizations and individuals are welcome!

Virtual Town Halls

PHENOM will be hosting a series of Town Halls in September and October. We know that new advocates are organizing urgent campaigns all across the state. So, our goal is to highlight important campaigns, share strategies, and find ways to support each other’s work. Anyone doing higher ed related work is welcome to participate. We’re particularly interested in highlighting work around racial justice, tuition and fee fights, and worker’s rights!

Each Town Hall will feature a panel of organizers and a question & answer with the audience. Town Halls will be planned according to interest. So if you or your organization is interested in joining a panel or audience, please fill out this form

Register now our first town hall, organized by Izabel Depina, on Thursday, September 10th from 5:00-7:00pm!
